Help Updating from 2.3.3 using Kies

Hi all, my GS is running android 2.3.3 ( PDA:JVO / PHONE:JVO / CSC:JVO (CPW) ). I know that version 2.3.4 and version 2.3.5 is now available for upgrade but Kies keeps saying that i have the lastest version.
I have uninstalled then reinstalled kies, shut down the pc firewall to no avail.
Iam running the latest version of kies.
A friend updated his GS to 2.3.5 last night without any problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nobody with the (CPW) firmware prexis (carphone warehouse) has recieved the 2.3.4 update yet... (including me!) don;t know what the hold up is fro carphone warehouse hanndsets as 2.3.4 has been out a few months now....
