Help Updating from Kitkat 4.4.2 to Marshmallow 6

Hello,

I am trying to update my Huawei MT7-TL10 from 4.4.2 to 6.0.0 (B560).

However, no matter where i put the UPDATE.app file, either in the internal storage or SD card, upon the EMUI reboot screen i am faced with "There is no UPDATE.app" file error.

i am trying to use the device for NeoPixel LED strip commands and the applications used for that wont run on 4.4.2.

Has anyone got any help for me on how i could get this phone to update?

where did you get this file?

and just making sure have you followed these steps?

did you put the file in the correct folder on your sd card?
