Help Updating Nexus 7 From Android L Preview

I have a Nexus 7 which is currently running an Android L Preview. Can someone please tell me how to revert it back to stock so that I can get the 5.0 update OTA?

You are going to be better off flashing the nexus 7 factory image for lollipop rather than returning to stock and waiting potential a week or 2 for the OTA to hit your device.

I tried the directions which were on Phandroid earlier today and couldn't get them to work. Is it possible to revert back to stock or something? I don't mind waiting, and had I known that the developer preview isn't able to update OTA, I would not have purchased that particular tablet.

If you have a custom recovery check out this link.

Yes, you can revert back to stock by flashing the previous factory image (4.4). You will then get the OTA to 5.0 in the coming weeks

Is this it like flashing a ROM on the phone, nothing needed on a computer?
Just use wugfresh nexus root tookit. It will flash the lollipop factory image for you. Then if you want it will root for you. It is a must have for nexus owners.
Nexus Root Toolkit v1.9.4 | WugFresh

I am downloading that now!

You need a computer to flash factory images. You need adb and fastboot (android SDK) but wugfresh has all that and does it for you. When you select device and build, pick nexus 7 2013 WiFi (if that's yours) and for your build select the last 5.0 build. Then use the flash stock and unroot. This will wipe all of your user data and install a fresh lollipop system. Unlike ota, it will wipe data. But in the end its better than ota update because its a clean fresh install. Ota patches this and that and other compromises to keep your user data. I did KitKat this way when it came out and never had the crappy battery life that people who did ota update had. Instead of trying to update your system, it wipes it completely and installs the new system cleanly. Just my opinion.
