You get the software updates from Samsung app store, when Adobe put the new version there. I have asked that once and Adobe said that they will update both places and we who have the PSTouch in our phones (from Samsung) will get updates from there and you cannot update it from GooglePlay.
Mine is ver. 1.5.0 which is the same as a version in GooglePlay. If you have older version, go to Samsung app store and click the button my apps and you can update it. If it is already up2date, and Adobe has put some extra features into it, then we need to wait until Adobe put it to the store.
Thanks for letting me know it was linked to the samsung app store however for me it was not listed under 'my apps'
So for anyone else who finds this thread while searching. All i had to do was search the samsung app store for 'Adobe Photoshop Touch' the app description page had a button that said 'launch' press that and it will ask you to purchase it, however it is free if you look at the top. The samsung app store will then download the latest version and it now seems that PS Touch is in the 'My Apps' for future updates![]()
Thanks.
When I view PS Touch on the app store, the price is shown near the top right hand side, white text on a green rectangle. The 'Description' is initially truncated but even when I click on the little down arrow to expand it, I can't see a 'launch' option anywhere. In fact, the description refers to an Install button but there isn't one of those anywhere either. I have to click on the price to start the purchase cycle (but I don't want to go through that 'cos I don't want to end up purchasing it).
I've just checked and I have version 1.4.2 of PS Touch installed.
I can't understand why you are seeing things different to me.
Not a major worry, just curious.
I saw launch where the price is for you. If you press on the price when the confirmation window appears asking you to select your payment method does it still look like it's going to charge you?
I ask because I think I read a post that stated although a price is initially listed on the app page, when they saw the confirmation window it seemed to dissappear and did not require a payment method to be selected.
Worked for me. Although it said update not launch. Took a few presses of update before accepting update
Not showing version 1.5 on photoshop, setting, about.
No mention of credit card at all.
Thanks. I'm really curious why others are seeing things differently to me. I'm using a GT-N8010 running version 4.1.2.
I go to the play store and then to Photoshop Touch. It behaves as if I don't have Touch installed and wants to charge me.
Any ideas why others are seeing different behaviour. Are they doing things different to me?
Edit - hold on, I should be looking in the Samsung app store, not Play Store. Stupid.
