updating rom?

hi guys when i'm conected to google pay it says my tablet is a China Telecom Infotmic M799ca

is there a way i can update the rom?

If the manufacturer produces an update (not likely tbh) you should be able to install via the software update menu option (assuming that's present). Or if somebody has built a more recent ROM for that device you could root and install that.

ROMs need to be built for the specific device, so those are the only options I'm afraid.
