Root updating to 2.3.3

so i have android 2.2.1 I wanted to know if there was a way to upgrade to 2.3.3? my phone is rooted I have the commando

If you have uninstalled system applications with titanium, you are probably going to have too have the phone replaced. No one has been able to get their phone to take the update after removing apps with titanium.

joy..well iv heard that 2.2.1 is actually better then 2.3.3 is this correct? Iv heard 2.3.3 is a little slower and more clunky...?

Could you follow under instructions in the how to install custom recovery thread, so we can get a nandroid backup of 2.2.1 up?

We need a copy of 2.2.1 so we, and you, can go back to it if/when we ever decide to.

This would be a huge help to all of us!!!!

If I were you I would stay with 2.2.1 for now.
