Help updating to ice cream

sooo i have a few questions bc im ******ed when it comes to my phone (android incredible) and its latest updates but im trying to have to mercy on my stupidity.
1. my android says that its version is 2.2 is that the latest???
2. how do i know if i have "ice cream sandwich" lol
3. i downloaded the ice cream sandwich keyboard buuuut its not working at all.
what do i do !!?? >.< pls help asap

Version 4.0 would be ice cream sandwich, and you have to root your phone and flash it yourself to be running it. Now for your keyboard go into setting> language and keyboard, then check the box next to the keyboard you downloaded. Then open up a text message box and long press the text area, click input method and you should be able to select ics keyboard there. And walah it should be working then.
