sir iam using lava tablet having android version of 2.2.now i want to change its version and upgraded to version 4.0 is it possible..

Maybe, but there are two reasons you might struggle:
1. if it came with 2.2 that would suggest the hardware is not the latest and greatest so it may not be up to running 4.0
2. unless it's a popular tablet, I would imagine you're going to struggle to find a ROM for it
I guess you could always build your own ROM but that's way beyond me
