I have a LG GT540 (Orange network) with version Android 1.6. I am trying to upgrade Android because from what I've read, I'll get better battery life. I've tried the upgrade facility on the LG site.
I've downloaded the upgrade application. While running the application, it recognised my phone and attempted to upgrade my phone to version 2.1 but it stopped halfway through saying there was a server issue. It sounds like the problem is with the LG site. Has the upgrade service for this model been discontinued by LG?
