Upgrade from Incredible to LG Revolution

I was about to upgrade my Incredible for an LG Revolution this morning, but was asked to select a tiered data plan. I cancelled it because I don't want to give up my unlimited data.

2 questions....

1. I thought those that would be grandfathered in were even grandfathered in after an upgrade?

If that's not the case then...

2. If I were to pay full price for the phone...would I still have to select a tiered data plan??

Thanks.

Actually, upon further review, I have answered my question. I can still get unlimited data, but they don't call it the same. A person who didn't know any better may just select the 2 gig option not knowing any better! LOL

And FWIW...I'd pay more for data, if I could lower the cost of my voice minutes. We have two lines and share 700 minutes. I'm on day 26 of the month, and we have used 12. At best, if you included the "off Peak" minutes when the hubby talks to his mom on sundays, we'd be up to 75 at the most. LOL

Do you have unlimited texts? If not, call in an switch to the 550 minute plan.
