Help upgrade issues

Is anyone else's phone playing up since the recent android update?
mine is running slow. Freezing. Apps I've not even got open keep saying they have stopped. I've had photos disappear and my messages are taking forever to send in areas where I have both a full network and wifi signal...

Also what phone, in case we need to find some device-specific advice.

Though it may be that backup everything, factory reset, reinstall/restore is worth trying if you've got problems after a major update.

menu/settings/about phone/software information....look for the Android Version number.

Upgraded to Version 5.0. Not sure what it was previously. It's just like my phone is having a hissy fit every now and again!!!!
