I'm using elelinux rom which has the really old market app and it also doesn't auto update to the latest one. How or where can I get the new market from a legitimate and reliable source and not some apk from some random file web host?
Phandroid (the Android news website of which we are the forum of ) posted the apk about a week ago as part of an article. You should be able to grab it there.
