Every forums have said that the Samsung is going to upgrade Galaxy s2 in March in India but so far there is no indication of such Samsung activity. Is it 2012 or 2013?

4.0.3 has been released for India (CSC code is INU). However I don't recommend using Indian firmware at all since you will never get any minor OTA updates to 4.0.4 etc. in the future. The best firmware is Open Europe (CSC code is XEU).

You can download the multi-CSC firmware for Poland (which happens to include Open Europe as well) and then change your CSC code from the Polish code to XEU. When you change the CSC code the phone will get factory reset and will reboot into the new CSC & language (English UK for XEU).

You can generally identify Open Europe firmware since in the file name they have XX in the PDA version and OXA in the CSC version (CSC version in the file name is different from the CSC code in the phone after it's installed). The last 3 characters (LPQ in this case) will be the same e.g. I9100XXLPQ I9100OXALPQ

The official ROM has been posted on XDA but it's not out on Kies yet. In any case I don't recommend using Indian firmware since you will NEVER get updates. Use a firmware with an XEU (Open Europe) CSC such as the Poland firmware. You will then get OTA updates on time.
