hi all..this is my 1st post!
i wanted to share a problem.
I had bought galaxy y before 4 months.
I updated the phone version from phone itself OTA update thru wifi 15days back.
Prev version was android 2.3.5 now its 2.3.6
Since the update im facing problem with battery backup.Earlier it used to last for a day and half.but since the update it lasts less than a day for the same usage.
I went to samsung service center to downgrade version from 2.3.6 to 2.3.5.
They bluntly denied saying they dont have permission to downgrade any phones version.I even talked to area head of state, he also denied to downgrade version and kept explaining that upgrades r always better.
I have mailed to customer care now lets see what happens
I dont remember version names phone had before the OTA upgrade.
Meanwhile i have updated firmware from one of the link on this forum thru odin.Link givenas DDKJ3.
Now My Current versions are:
BASEBAND: DDLA1(it was same before my self upgrade thru odin)
BUILDNUMBER
DKK1(this seems to be changed after i updated phone thru odin)
Any of other user has faced such problem of battery time reduced after upgrade? one of other galaxy y friend also facing same problem.
