Upgrade Skyrocket to Android Kitkat

Has anyone tried any of the 'unofficial' Kitkat upgrades that are available? I know that Samsung and Android aren't doing a release for the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket but I've found a variety of operating systems that I can install that claim they provide the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat experience. I can't tell which ones might be good, disastrous, or scams. I was hoping that someone out here was brave enough to try one already.

I did this three days ago using this guide to upgrade my at&t i-727 skyrocket from JB 4.2.1 to Kitkat 4.4.4

Update AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-I727 To Android 4.4.2 KitKat via CM11 Nightly–How To | True Android | #1 Custom Android Resource

All went perfect and the kitkat rom used here seems stable, but it is stripped down to the bare bones. It runs smooth, but I have run into a couple of glitches. The bluetooht function is not stable, but it was not much better on JB. There seems to be some account syncing problems.

The one thing that I can tell you is that the interface is a lot different and I am not much liking it. JB had become so unstable and sluggish on my i-727 that I had to upgrade, and my phone is running a lot faster and smoother with kitkat, but I would go back to JB if I could. Of course I did not like JB when I upgraded from ICS either, so only time will tell if I will stay with Kitkat.
