I have dell xcd35 android 2.1 , it has ram & rom of 512mb so is it better to update it to 2.2 , after upgrade dose it effect on ram or make it slow if not then also tell me how upgrade it
 
Hi amanjain, I am not finding anything on your phone, it appears to be an India only phone. Maybe someone else will have a little more info for you. Welcome to the forums and enjoy yourself.

Is the Dell XCD35 just the Indian version of the ZTE Blade? Generally speaking, when you upgrade it will improve performance as things like memory management, CPU tweaks are added.

Is there an official update or are you looking at installing a custom ROM?

hi, this phone is the Indian version of ZTE Blade. The phone now comes pre loaded with 2.2 Froyo. I would suggest you visit Dell service centre in your area and they should be able to help you. My Dell XCD 35 works just fine with Froyo. Very stable, memory managed with pre included task killer and each charge lasts about 40 hours with my usage. I dont use GPS or camera regularly.
