Upgraded from G1

I just upgraded to a mytouch 4g from a g1, and the speed is insane. It looks like technology has finally caught up with my home browsers when it comes to internet speed. I read really massive web pages though.

On my g1, I had a cross shaped button that would pop up when I'm scroll that allowed me to pop anywhere on the page. I notice it doesn't show up on this phone.. Is there a way to get that option? It takes forever scrolling from the top to the bottom of some of these pages.

I really liked the ability to just choose where to go pretty much instantly on a page.

I'm also really used to the built in keyboard on the G1. This new virtual keyboard is kind of awkward. Do you get used to it pretty quickly? I was so fast on my g1, now im running at a snails pace lol.

Also, any way to uninstall all these game demos it came with? I'm really not into phone games. They have a ways to go before they can hold my interest lol.

I don't know if it was removed, but it might have been. From 1.5 to 2.2, it's been a long time, there's been a lot of changes.

With me, I love the version of Swype that's preloaded. It's not dark, it doesn't give me problems, and it works.

Unfortunately, you have to be rooted to uninstall bloatware. Other launcher might let you hide, but I wouldn't know.

Dang, it was so convenient.

I eventually just went to the normal android keyboard though. I kept accidentally hitting swipe while typing and screwing crap up. It's much easier so far.
