I have a galaxy s2 skyrocket and I upgraded the firmware with kies I had the stock firmware that came with the phone when the phone came out everything went okay all my apps started to update and I was rearranging everything and then the phone shut of now it keeps re starting and I can't unlock the screen and it restarts over and over and some times something pops up and says unfortunately andriodcom process has failed or something like that I know nothing about phones what do I do?

Welcome, slow302stang. :)

The first thing to do is get the battery out of there to stop the madness. ;) While you're at it, pull out the SIM card and sd card if you have access to them.

Wait a minute or so then put it all back together and do a hard reset (after backing up stuff you want to keep):

  1. Power off the device.
NOTE: If unable to power off, remove and reinsert the battery.
  2. Hold down the Volume Up + Volume Down keys AND the Power Key until the First Samsung Splash Screen comes up and quickly let go of the keys.
This will bring you to the Android recovery menu.
  3. Use the Volume Up + Volume Down keys to move up and down the menu, and use the Home key to select the menu options.
  4. Select Wipe data/factory reset and tap OK.
  5. Selet Yes and press the Home Key.
  6. After user data is cleared, the reboot system now option is highlighted by default. Tap OK and wait for the device to power up.
