upgrading micro sd card to bigger size

I'm upgrading my 8gb micro sd to 16gb.

I'm having troubles with the apps installed on the sd. The apps on the sd is moved from froyo not using app2sd.

I tried just dragging and dropping the whole content and it doesn't work.

I'm on an unrooted mytouch 4g.

I was able to get it working using disk utility on my mac, but now the 16gb is only able to be read as 8gb.

Need help on how to upgrade from 8gb to 16gb without unistalling, reinstalling all the apps.

Try moving your SD apps to your phone first, I had the same problem and that worked for me. Also you might have to format your 16gb to get all the space.
