upward swipe shows tab headers in dolphin browser

Sometimes when I'm gently swiping upwards to scroll down a webpage, something triggers the tabs to be shown. Firstly, I can't duplicate the function on command so what am I doing? Second, id really like to know how to show and hide tabs but can't seem to find an explanation.

I guess I meant to say that I don't even know how to get rid of the tabs once they accidentally appear. Well, other than having to work around by hitting menu or something.

Double tapping will hide/show the tabs. You might somehow be doing that when you swipe up sometimes.
