If you put your Micro SD in the adapter, and plug it into a PC, does the PC show it empty too?

Sorry I thought I get notified if I got replies to my post. Yes before I rooted it showed up in my phone and when I plugged it into my PC now it doesn't show in either. Lost very important pictures of Births and things!

Nope. It is not detected.:(

I would try the method posted above, with Recuvia, using the SD card reader, and not your phone. I found a download link via Filehippo.com which is a trusted source for downloading programs.

(I use it all the time)

Download Recuva 1.47.948 - FileHippo.com

I have never used this method, but found a youtube tutorial with a walkthough on helping you recover your files, that is here:

Tutorial: Recover Deleted Computer files with Recuva - YouTube

If you're the type that enjoys reading your tutorials, I found this tutorial:

How to Recover Deleted Files Using Recuva

I very much hope you're able to recover your missing files.

I have not heard of anyone messing up their SD card by rooting(it is likely your SD was close to failure already), and I've been around since close to the beginning of Root for the Fusion 2; I've also read just about all the posts related to this phone.

If you try this method for recovering your files, will you post back with the results?

Best of luck.

Cannot recover from SD card because it is not even visible to my PC. I see my CardReader listed in the Device Manager and I have put the micro SD card in both of these but it still does not show up.

How OLD is your sd card? Flash memory has a life span. You may try to use the Administrative Tools from Windows control panel, then Computer Management, then Disk Management, while your sd card is plugged into your computer. Do you see anything that references your sd card in Disk Management? If so, then just assign it a drive letter and you can access it. If not, then it has probably reached it end of life and is therefore non-functional and cannot be recovered.

But rooting your Fusion 2 phone using the method on this website had nothing to do with your sd card problems.
