URGENT! Can't fix SU binaries via flash or flash TWRP?

How long did you hold down the power button? Your phone should power itself off when you hold it down long enough. It may take several seconds.

When Odin shows you that 'Pass' flag, you want to initiate a manually induced shutdown. You need to force your phone to turn off, you don't want to allow your phone any time to run through its normal shut down procedure (timing is important) -- that cursed recovery-from-boot.p script will run, replacing the TWRP Recovery you just implemented with the original Recovery.

Literally just tried holding it down for another minute and it hasn't done anything..

Flashing CF Auto Root uses a modified version of the stock recovery. All it basically does is install SuperSU and it's binary.
This is for the 928F but they have one for most models

Yeah I've just checked and the 928F is the model that I have thanks, I'll give it a go and see if it works. Should I leave Auto Reboot on for this method?

Yes, leave Auto Reboot checked.
If it works and you get root, you can download a TWRP image file and use one of the flashing apps mentioned above from the Play Store to install it

So far so good I guess, it says it's going to bootloop a few times. I presume this is a normal thing? Hopefully rootchecker should say it's been rooted properly and fixed the damn binaries issue..

YES! It's been successfully rooted! I can't thank you enough honestly this is what I've been trying to get at the entire time. TWRP was only to fix the root issue but now I can install TWRP and have root access working fine!

If it settles down and boots normally, open SuperSU app and let it update its binary and disable Knox then use root checker app

I don't have knox on my device, I think I got rid of it when I first rooted my device so I should be clear on that then. Rootchecker also says I have root access!
