hows it going guys

I got a HTC Wildfire S that keeps on shutting down and freezing

tried a factory reset
and its already on the highest software version
Im looking for a way to wipe the software and completly re install it.
Can anybody point me in the right direction

did a forum search, plus google and youtube but no answers

Sounds like you might want to look at rooting your phone - you won't be able to uninstall, delete or reload the OS on the ROM without doing so. As yet, it can't be done with software on the Desire S, but it can with an XTC clip. However, there are things to consider if going the 'hardware' way, i.e. warranty problems, should your phone become faulty.

Most people are waiting for the software alternative (bootloader and S-off). This looks like it's going to come from 'private' developers first, although HTC have said they will produce it in the future.

It goes without saying that before you attempt to root your phone, make sure you know what you're doing and what resources there are for your phone. Because it's early days, there aren't that many specifically for the Desire S.
