Help Urgent help needed

Just bought the phone and had put the sim inside (self cutting from ordinary to micro sim) but unfortunately the sim size was wider and when i inserted the sim, it slipped inside and could not come out.:mad:..After that the phone stopped charging and i'm really in trouble how to solve this issue...since it is hardly 2 days old and the battery compartment cannot be opened/ accessed by self. The whole situation has become terrible.PS: tried charging in but the power did not came and the phone was heated from back what could have happened ?:mad:

Unfortunately I could only advise either returning the phone so that it can have this problem resolved via an authorised repair agent.

Thanks a ton Sam for the advice

Had shown the phone at the service center and fortunately it was fine once he removed the sim card after opening it and there was no damage inside, thou he feared something drastic might have happened since the phone was not getting charged/ had no power, it could have a total irreparable damage:(

But, some how it was fine and I have started using it. Its truly amazing phone;)
 
Something may have been shorting out on the SIm given the nature of the problem, but glad this sorted and good to hear you are enjoying the phone :)

Yes absolutely, the service center guy told the same thing. Also he said that the case comprises of thin aluminium wires which in itself is so sensitive that cannot be repaired if tampered with:pound: He right asked me in the beginning that if have fiddled with the phone ruling my own intelligence to which i'd not done thankfully;)

I love the look of the phone which is a head turner even today among the samsungs, htc etc and above all, the quality it comes with..Only wait for the jelly bean update from Sony:)
