Help URGENT Message memory filled, doesn't empty

Hi,

My message memory is full, and I can't free any to recieve a message. Is there a trash that I must clear?
I have deleted more than a hundred messages, and restarted the phone, but I still cannot recieve.

I thought there is some way to automatically delete old messages?

ok it's alright, I deleted some apps. There should be more memory though.
