I have a MTK6575 (Thunderbird i5) smartphone and I think I bricked it. While flashing my phone with SP Flash Tool I accidentally disconnected my phone, I tried to reconnect it and start over, but, when I do, it shows me this message:

"One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message."

When I click it, it shows me Unknown Device.

Is there any way to recover my phone? BTW, I can't take out my battery.

Please help!!!

you'll be more likely to get an answer from the maker of the SP Flash Tool. If you interrupted a flash it's not good.

Hi there, omega96, and welcome to Android Forums. :)

Sorry to hear you're having problems with your phone. Hopefully, someone will offer up a solution.

Is there anything else you can add that you've tried? Anything that might help narrow things down would help.

You mentioned that you cannot remove your battery. However, a system reset should be possible. Do you have the phone's manual? Perhaps check that for its key combination or other steps for a factory reset. Of course you'll lose your personal settings and stuff, but you'll get back use of your phone.

My phone is working now. I just left it connected to computer via USB. When it turns on, battery was 1% charged.
