Have the LG125DL. Often finding that a "padlock" icon appears just before the URL. Does not necessarily block access and so I would ask what the padlock mean for the LG flip phone

you can actually pess the lock icon and you will see that your connection is secure

It's nothing to do with your phone really, it's a standard browser feature these days (e.g. I have it on my laptop right now as I'm typing this).

That padlock icon isn't something you can use to actually do something, it's for the most part an arbitrary status indicator about the security level of the web site you're viewing at the time. Or in other words, you can't use it change anything, it's just about showing you information.

Yeah Padlocks is a standard features, fowlling up the https:// story online, just feel free to read about what Svin reads, it is basically how your toll does not leak out of any virtual realities.
