US plug or international with adaptor? Help

Serge58

Lurker
I need a Note 3 9000 with US dedicated adaptor, unlocked
(for AT&T and T-mobile)
So far I see only international plug with US adaptor and
it does not work for me.
Who sells Note 3 made for US?

The plug and adapter refer to the charger, not to which carrier the phone will work on. You need a N900A for AT&T, a N900T tor TMobile or, what most people are doing because of the locked-down bootloader in the AT&T version, a SIM-unlocked N900T (which will work on either one).

As far as the charger, it takes from 100-240 volts, so either one with a US plug or one with a European (and there are many different kinds) plug wih a US adapter will work - and won't make the slightest bot of difference, except that the one with the adapter will stick out from the wall a couple of cm more.

Thanks. I see...
What happened was that I got Note 3 with international plug on E-bay and it kept overheating and I returned it. Samsung rep looked at it and said that it is different from US unlocked.
It was N9000 w/o any letters and US adaptor.
So... I should get N9000T? I am planning to use AT&T still.

I'm a little confused about what exactly you're needing to do. Are you saying this:

1) You need a Note 3 that you can use both in the US and Internationally.
2) You need to have AC adaptor plugs that work for the US and Internationally.

If that's what you're saying, my first question would be, where would you spend most of your time (in the US or Internationally)? Or do you split your time equally between the US and overseas?

Regardless, Negri Electronics has the AT&T Galaxy Note III w/ LTE radios (for US spectrum)
Samsung N900A Galaxy Note 3 32GB LTE (AT&T) (Unlocked) (Jet Black) (Open Box)

As you can see, the AT&T Galaxy Note 3 has a N900A model number. That should allow you to activate it on AT&T, while still being able to use it overseas with a local SIM.

Now, as far as charging is concerned, whatever plug (US or International) that comes with the phone, you can just buy an adapter for very inexpensive costs, to use in conjunction with that charger. If you want a more "convenient" solution, then just buy separate plugs that you can use any USB 2.0 or 3.0 chord with.

I personally have multiple USB 3.0 chords. If I were travelling more often, I'd just keep an international plug in my travel bag, along with an extra USB 3.0 chord, so I never have to worry about having one or not. It's just always in my bag.
