Root usage of rooting

I have a samsung galaxy mini. i just rooted my phone.
i want to overclock my device and transfer applications to the sd card.
can anyone suggest any applications for this?
and what are other uses of rooting? or things which i can do with a rooted device

Overclocking is not available on a stock rom. But is available on the CM7. How to flash to CM you can find here : http://androidforums.com/galaxy-min...ot/376212-questions-flashing-cyanogenmod.html . If you have question post them there too. And you can use Gemini App Manager to transfer apps to sd card

Which would be better? cyanogenMOD or cyanogenMOD 7?
