Help USB Audio

Hi all

Hoping someone could help me, I have an external DAC which works fine on iOS but I was under the impression that with kitkat android finally made it possible to pass all audio through the usb micro output. However I can only get USB audio recorder pro to output audio to my DAC. How can I get youtube through my DAC too please?

Just a guess, but the app probably has to be written to take advantage of the port's ability to now handle audio. And most apps wouldn't have been written to do that since it wasn't possible until recently.
