Hi
I'm looking to get my dad a cheap Chinese 7 inch tablet. It'll be running ICS and have full marketplace access. He's not even vaguely what you'd call tech literate. One of the things he wants to be able to do is view photos/video from a USB stick (and maybe copy between them).
I believe the tablet will have USB host, being stock ICS with micro sd storage, and I have an adapter but from my experience plugging external usb storage in doesn't make the device react at all, any mounting taking place in the background. His only experience is with the Windows autoplay feature where sticking in a stick will let you see all of the files automatically.
Anyone know of anything that will do this on Android? I don't think the device will have root so that's out. Preferably something that comes up with a nice user friendly interface and doesn't talk about mount points
