Help USB cable becoming loose inside phone over time

I have gone through SEVERAL wired chargers with my nexus and every time I have the same issue. On every USB cable, the male side of the cable goes flat and has nothing to grip into the port making the cable loose, falling out, or sometimes not even charging. Is this a problem with the phone or is there a certain cable that I should I use because recently I had purchased an Amazon basics cable and it was perfect until my phone "broke" it. If this is a problem with the phone, what ways can I go to fix this?

Sounds like you need to solder a new socket.
Its hardware issue, so if its not your thing consult a repair shop

No problem with my Nexus 4 socket. However have had problems on other phones in the past, so to "Prevent problems" I recently got the wireless charging unit for the phone. Both "In Car" and "Desktop" (I suggested them as presents for my birthday)
