USB camera installation on Android SBC

Hi,

I need to install a USB camera on a pre-existing hardware with USB host. I had a few doubts in my mind.

1) Do I need to write the drivers for USB camera myself?
2) Do I need to add some lines in bootloader code and then recompile the kernel or is there an easy way like directly installing the drivers in Android OS?
