Root USB Connected Issue

I just started having this problem today. When I connect my Triumph to the computer, it popped up with a message that said that my device could preform faster if it was connected to a USB 2.0 port. My computer does have USB 2.0, my Triumph has never had that error. I tried rebooting and reconnecting, but same error. When I try to turn on USB storage on the phone, it would turn on, but it would not mount on the computer. At times when I've reconnected I get an error in Windows that says my device is corrupted. Also, when connected, the charging light turns on, but I am testing to see if it is actually charging. Could it be a bad USB port? I am on g60's CM7 r.03

EDIT: I can report that it does NOT charge while connected to the computer, but it does while connected to an outlet.

Do you have any Samsung Usb cables like the one that came with the Intercept? I use My Intercept's Charger since i have to wiggle the Motorola one for it to work I think the cable is poor quality thats probably why...........

No, the Triumph is my first VM phone. Thanks for your reply though. That's odd, cause it charges on AC but not on the computer. And I'm sure its not my computer. Hmm, oh well. Ill just hope that there will be some way to swap to the Evo V

Hey Chingling, did you ever get this solved. Mu phone started todo this today. I've tried 2 different ROMS and nothing. If I power off the phone it will charge from my computer , but not if it is powered on. it does give a few attempts at usb connections. I get the same "USB 2" message as you did.

That's a PC issue not your phone my old PC did that to doesn't hurt nothing, what's your PC's OS ?

Normally when I connect my phone and USB Drive to my pc, Windows show, your device can perform faster. Its not an error. Just forget it. If Windows display disk error, then perform, "scan for bad sector".
