USB Connection to PC Help!

I'm trying to move all my stuff from my phone to my SD Card, so I connected it to the computer. I already installed all the drivers and stuff. But sometimes, when I don't click USB Mode, it still pops up on the computer. And there are 2 folders, phone and card, but nothing in them. When I click USB mode, the folders change and there is 2 folders, not Phone & Card, but has all the apps and what not. How do I get to the place where there are 2 folders, Phone and Card, so I can move all my stuff to the Card??
