USB Debugging Issue

Samsung Galaxy Pop SHV-E220 ( not root and can't root it  ), I installed Samsung USB Driver, in devices' Settings -> Developer options I enabled USB Debugging mode but when connect it to PC, shows connected as Media Device (MTP) ? please help to solve this issue.

I want to use ADB to flash recovery and to set install location and may be I can ROOT it etc. etc.

regards.

Hi oralover2006,

Have you installed the Android SDK (or, at the least, the platform-tools component which includes adb) on your computer? What do you get when you execute "adb devices" ?

Hi oralover2006,

thanks very much for reply.
yes, installed Kies from official Samsung, and installed "Minimal ADB" from xda and now "adb devices" command is working but one issue is there, when trying to flash recovery with "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" it is not working instead saying like "waiting for device" . i issued command before fastboot command " adb boot -bootloader " then my device boots in normal mode. i tried manually while pressing "Home + Volume Up + Power " this boot in "recovery mode" when using keys "Home + Volume Down + Power" this brings phone in unknown mode where all in Korean language, no up / down keys are working ( no navigations ), in this mode issuing command " fastboot flash recovery recovery, img " it saying same as previous?
now what to do? please help.

regards.
