Help USB Device not recognized

Hi folks,

Has anybody ever had a problem connecting their Note to their PC? When I use the USB cable to connect the Note to the PC I get the error message "USB device not recognized".

When I try to update the drivers I'm told the drivers are up-to-date. When I've tried to uninstall them the same drivers are there when I re-connect the Note.

Anybody able to help.

Uninstall the drivers. Go to Samsung's site and download the drivers directly from them. Install them. Plug the tablet directly into one of the USB ports on the computer, not into a USB hub. If the problem persists, you might have a bad tablet. (Or a bad cable, or a loose USB connector in the tablet.)

Thanks for the reply. I've downloded what I think are the drivers from the samsung website, however when I try to install them the drivers shown are amd drivers when I check the properties. Not sure why the samsung drivers don't appear.

It's worked for a year until now. Why would it suddenly stop?
