USB Gigabit Adapter for Android TV?

I just got an Android TV box today, but it only has 10/100 ethernet and doesn't support dual-band wifi, so I'm looking for a way to be able to use my internet service (300mbps) with my new box.

I have a USB gigbit ethernet adapter (Insignia ns-pu98635) that I use with my laptop, but it apparently isn't supported by the box's O.S. What I'm wondering is whether anyone here knows of a compatible USB adapter that will work with the box? It runs Android 5.1.1.

I'm hoping to find a USB ethernet adapter, but I'd settle for a USB dual-band wifi adapter if there are no options for ethernet.

Some boxes do support external adapters, all depends on the whatever it is Android box you've got there though. Best thing is to check with the supplier, enquire what they support with it.
