USB keyboard not working

I got a USB adapter from Amazon;

I plug it in and nothing. I had a root access app that said it fixed it and another app confirmed USB OTG support but a different app claims it couldn't detect anything.

O man I'm sorry but the motion doesn't have otg support and as long as the bootloader is locked there isn't (AFAIK) a way to enable otg.

So there's no hope of getting USB devices to work with it? I read it can get custom roms.

There isn't something I can text edit to force OTG support? I thought having a rooted phone gave you full access to the kernel and everything else. A few programs claimed it had OTG support so I thought this fix worked.

It's possible to get OTG support, but this would require someone to recompile the kernel with the added support, and we would need to install the new kernel using loki.

If you really need it, perhaps it would be good to start a new thread to raise donations for it. Someone elite, like PlayfulGod, hroak13, or ShabbyPenguin could make it happen.
