Help usb mass storage doesnt work sigh..

I have tried everything. I plug the phone in and when mass storage device is selected a new drive is found, f:\.How ever when I try to open in a error pops up and says "insert disc in drive f:/". If I change it to the media sync setting then nothing happens no drive detected, nothing...Please help as I want to transfer movies etc to the mini sd
 
Once the new drive is detected, drag down the notification bar in your phone, click on the USB Connected notification, and hit Mount.
