Help Usb Mass Storage on Mac

Hey i have a macbook and a samsung galaxy s3. When i connect it to my windows laptop it comes up with a usb mass storage but when i plug it into mac it doesnt come up with anything. Even to connect my s3 to my mac via kies it will take at least 5 minutes. can somone please help me?

i do have my usb debugging turned on and i dont know what is wrong with it. it does say it is connected as well. It works for my windows but not my mac. and also kies on my windows work straight away

There's a known problem with that Android File Transfer Agent. It will disconnect you from internet If you are using USB Ethernet.

Thanks so much... I've never had an issue with any of my other droids showing up on my MBP. This works great for my GS3

I didn't even think about that! I use that with my Asus Transformer Prime tablet.
