USB Mass storage Watcher app

altkon

Newbie
Hi guys!!
I have installed this app on my Android KitKat 4.4.2. and I cannot turn on the USB Mass storage feature in order to start listening to my songs.
Although the USB device is connected I can't find the link usually letting you click on it and turn on this feature.
Please guide me .
Thanks.

Controlling it should be under settings, storage, then tap the overflow/menu button for USB computer connection.

Also, I don't think what you're seeing is an "app" so much as a notification of an OS function

Controlling it should be under settings, storage, then tap the overflow/menu button for USB computer connection.
I have done that but it seems this app is only compatible with rooted devices, that is the reason it does not work on my Tablet Android 4.4.2 KitKat version.
I have also found out that all tablets with Android 3.1 version and onwards are not able to read USB mass storage content unless routed.
However I am scared to go ahead and root my device because I have got it recently.
Thanks.

OK, what's the name of the app?

Model # is BS1078 Android 4.4.2 quad core 10.1 Tablet CPU All winner A31Processor
Cortex A7 purchased from Ali Express com. With OTG USB adapter 2inputs normal and host.
My intension is to connect to my external plug and play keyboard which used to work with my Android 2.2 #3245 and to be able to plug my flash USB and play music or video and pictures.
Tried to find out from YouTube a rooting procedure video but to no avail.
Greatfull if you can guide me.
Thanks a lot.

Oh, see I thought you were using an existing app. Your best bet might be to find the root sub forum for your device and try your luck there.
