Help Usb message error

So today I pull my phone out of my pocket and it is telling me that the usb is connected. Restarted and that did nothing. Did a battery pull and that did nothing. Anyone else have this issue?

Could be that there's dirt or a bit of fluff in the USB port? It has been known to cause things like that.

That might be it. Just blew it out and it went away. We'll see if it comes back or not.

Hopefully it doesn't, but if your pockets contain as much rubbish as mine, you'll be doing it again

It didn't help. Most of the time it rides in the pocket of a dress shirt so lint shouldn't be a major issue.
