USB or AC

Hello short question. Should I really charge my phone with laptop or AC is better in other ways than speed? I mean yeah, it is better to charge with AC because of power, but is it healthy to charge with Laptop through USB?

I've always been of the mindset that a slow charge (usb) is better. As long as you are not using the device at the same time, then perhaps the battery use will surpass the battery charge.
But like you said, AC is faster depending on the charger of course.

A PC USB port may not provide sufficient current to charge most recent phones. At best you'll get 450ma from a full-powered port, less from a data-only port. Those ports aren't really meant for this purpose.
Charge your phone with a proper charger that has an adequate current rating which for most will be 2A or better. A higher current rating doesn't mean the phone will overcharge, the charge rate is regulated internally and it will draw the correct amount of current from the charger.

I'll contend that while using your laptop's USB port isn't the optimal way to charge your phone, it's still an acceptable way. I wouldn't avoid it, but using an adapter does have its advantages. Of course if you frequently rely on a USB cable to transfer files back and forth so your phone is often plugged into your laptop already there's a convenience factor involved just leaving it that way too. This Battery University article has a nice summation on this issue:

I would argue that slow/low power charging vs. AC/rapid charging vs. Qi/wireless charging will make virtually no difference, so charge the way you want to.

Thanks for the specific information guys!! Im using Typr-C USB cable for my Le S3. Anyway I rarely use Usb Cable for charging purposes but I will look for more info when I have spare time. Thanks for your efforts. Wish I could knew android forums 2 years ago. Maybe mine Samsung Core prime would be just fine by this day, too bad I overcharged it by my laptop which didn't had wifi feature working so I used my samsung as a modem over USB.. Haha.. Stuff happened from this 100% but I don't repeat this again. Learned my lesson
