USB or Bluetooth keyboard for 8" tab

I have bought a samsung galaxy tab 3 8.0". I would like to get a keyboard case for it but don't know which type would be best. Would a USB linked one use the tablet's battery? Would a bluetooth one use less power? Which one would work best and be more efficient? Any help would be most welcome. Thanks.
 
USB will use the tab's battery for the keyboard (unless you can find one that takes AA or AAA cells).

Bluetooth takes battery power from the tab to run the BT radio.

As far as battery efficiency, I'd go for a USB type that has its own batteries (but not rechargables). But battery efficiency isn't the most important thing in a keyboard. I'd rather use a less efficient one that I can type better on.
