USB OTG Capabilities

I was curious what all things people have been able to do with their GS3 and an OTG cable. I was just surprised to find my S3 can charge my other phone...! lol

I understand the power is limited, so a portable HDD can't recieve enough power from the phone, right? That's what it seems for me...

I couldn't get a PS3 controller to connect through the OTG.
I saw the video where the guy does it,
but I can only imagine that's because he's on the Innternational version...(?)

I'm using the US Cellular version,
SCH-R530U

im still wondering if anyone was able to get the ps3 controller linked up to their us version s3.
