I have searched the forum for similar problems, but mine has not been resolved thus far.
My samsung galaxy s2 hasn't been able to connect to the computer. Windows claims that it is an unknown device. I did all the normal stuff, factory reset, re-installation of drivers, kies multiply times, checked with different computers and cables. I have another s2 and it works fine, thus the problem is with my phone itself. I have already tried that pda method vis *#7284#. None of this has worked.
Then I tried going into download mode, and the strange thing is that I didn't get any prompt with a yellow triangle, asking me to continue or to reboot.
Instead i was already at the screen saying "Downloading... Do not turn off target!!"
Edit: Also note when I plug my phone into the computer via usb, it still charges, but all other usb functionality seems to be missing...
Is there anything I can do at this point, because I'm getting frustrated...
