Help USB problems?

when i plug my phone (droid 2) USB to the comp the drive shows up.

the past couple days i plugged it in, it doesnt show up anymore?

did i do something wrong or change a setting somehow

Pull down your notification bar. Choose USB connection. Make sure it's set to USB Mass storage.

thats what i always have it on. i looked it up and i downloaded some new drivers, that seemed to do the trick , at least for now
