Help usb tether keeps disconnecting

Hello

On s3 I need to use my tethering from time to time. Most of the I just to the hotspot, but today I needed to use the usb teather.

After about a minute the tethering just stops working or turns its self off. I have not hacked or rooted my phone and I actually pay for my tetherng.

I hope one of you might have a idea on to get this to behave properly.

New cable.
Most of the time that is the problem. And if you are going to use your USB cable alot then buy a good one.
 
That's what i was thinking, but i never have problems with transferring, charging, or adb connections. I have a spare around here some place I will give that one a try.
