Help usb tethering free?

Yeah this is really easy to do with azilink. The setup on the phone is easy, but configuring things on your computer can be tricky -- it's all operating system dependent.

I had a post about how to set this up with Ubuntu:

But if you are using Windows or OS X then things are slightly different (and a bit easier). Anyway, here is the link to the azilink home page:

If you don't want do set things up then you can simply use PDAnet or EasyTether.
 
Ironically, I'm using Easy Tether to type this on my desktop via my Evo, since my Charter is down for some reason...
 
I use easytether for my only internet connection. My wife's evo has the pay one fore secure sites and I have the free one for everything else. After all I can check my email from my evo.

I imagine someone would get easy tether to work with an ipad if it had a usb port.
